Indoor Air Quality Services has gone to the next level, with so many companies using air purifiers to improve the air quality in your living or working spaces. HVAC systems have two types of UV lights (Ultra-Violet Light). Air Purifiers are installed in commercial and residential areas.

1. Air Sterilization: A stick light installed in your HVAC system’s Air Duct returns to sterilize the air in the air handler coil. The coil sterilization uses UV light daily and at night to fix the passing air. This is the most common type of HVAC air purifier.
2. The air sterilization-installed UV light unit is in the air return air duct and cycles on with the air handler blower.

Placement to the Ultra Violet light is most important for sterilization, mounted alongside the cooling evaporator coil and downstream of the cooling side of the ring.
